Kaydon supplies labyrinth
shaft seals both as stand-alone shaft seals and
in combination with our other shaft seal products.
Arrangements include common straight tooth designs,
stepped and customized tooth designs for reduced
flow, buffered and eductor seals.
Materials are selected for the
application and include aluminum and thermoplastics
(Torlon® and PEEK). Material selection is
based on the application and value associated
with reduced flow across the seal.
Interstage labyrinth seals and
balance drum seals are available through Kaydon's
alliance partner, Turbo Components and Engineering.
